Ⅱ. Single Fund product

This product is to invest in the portfolio of alternative assets through either a separately managed account or a commingled fund.

(1) Asset Class/ Investment style

① Real Estate

・Japan -Core
Investment Style: Core (including Build-to-Core program)
Region: Japan
Property type: Diversified

・Products investing in either multiple or specific type of property can be considered for the selection.
・Products investing mainly in listed funds should be excluded for the selection.
・Core-type means that a product mainly stable income return.
・Build-to-Core is an investment program to commit investing into the projects under development in order to acquire income producing assets after completion.

② Other assets

When new RFP for other alternative assets is called, announcements would be posted on GPIF website and other media.

GPIF does not have a deadline for offering, so please apply at any time. We will review your application as needed.

(4) Notices

① Applicants are required to have registration of Investment Management Business under " Financial Instrument and Exchange Act (Act No. 25 of 1948)"and could conduct Investment Management Business for the applying mandates. In case applicants do not have this registration of Investment Management Business in Japan, applicants need to apply for the selection jointly with a qualified Asset manager as a " Gate Keeper". In the case where Asset manager doesn't meet GPIF's qualification, such Asset manager can provide us with information, e.g. performance data. When the Asset manager meets GPIF's qualification, the Asset manager can apply for Asset Manager Registration System.
