The 1st GPIF Finance Awards: Ceremony and Lectures
The ceremony of GPIF Finance Awards was held on March 29th, 2017, at KKR Hotel in Tokyo and Dr. Okimoto, Associate Professor, Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University and Visiting Associate Professor, International Corporate Strategy, Hitotsubashi University, was awarded.
On the same occasion, Dr. Robert C. Merton, a member of the selection committee of GPIF Finance Awards and Nobel Laureate in Economics delivered a lecture, "On the essential role of finance science in finance practice in asset management" and Dr. Okimoto delivered a lecture on " Dynamics of dependence in international financial markets and their implications to international asset allocation" to the approximately 160 audience of guests, researchers and practitioners.
